PRP 13 chart.001 CCTA 2015 Report • Defend Proposition 13 Project San Luis Obispo County Board of Supervisors CCTA sent a letter to the Chair and members of the County Board of Supervisors on July 13 asking for a vote to protect Proposition 13 and oppose SCA-5, the split roll tax. San Luis Obispo County Board of Supervisors voted 4-1 to protect Proposition 13 and oppose SCA 5: Debbie Arnold – Chair Lynn Compton Adam Hill (ALERT 2014 voted against protecting Proposition 13) Frank Mecham (ALERT 2014 voted against protecting Proposition 13) Voting against protecting Proposition 13: Bruce Gibson (ALERT 2014 voted against protecting Proposition 13) Copy of BoS Letter Opposing SCA-5 City of Arroyo Grande CCTA letter to Mayor and City Council sent July 27. City Council voted 4-0 to protect Proposition 13 and oppose SCA-5: Tim Brown Jim Guthrie Barbara Harmon Jim Hill – Mayor Not in Attendance: Kristen Barneich Copy of AG Council Letter Opposing SCA-5 City of Atascadero CCTA letter to Mayor and City Council sent on July 27. City Council voted 5-0 to protect Proposition 13 and oppose SCA-5: Karen Bright Jeff Lee Barbara Nicolls Mariam Shah John Shoals – Mayor (ALERT voted for ACA-4 to raise taxes at a SLOCOG meeting) Copy of GB Council Letter Opposing SCA-5 City of Morro Bay CCTA letter to Mayor and City Council sent August 11. City Council refused to take action to protect Proposition 13 and oppose SCA-5. City Council voted 5-0 to protect Proposition 13 and oppose SCA-5: Sheila Blake Shelly Higginbotham – Mayor Erik Howell Mary Ann Reiss Ed Waage Copy of PB Council Letter Opposing SCA-5 San Luis Obispo Council of Governments (SLOCOG) CCTA letter to President and Member of Council sent August 2.
